Richmond Station *.

I gave Richmond Station 4/5 stars before, but I'm updating my review to 5/5 stars :D

DRINKS (great selection for wine list!)
White Wine 2010 CHARDONNAY & Beer

HALIBUT CAKES (5/5)
These were delicious! The sauce that came with it was amazing too.

CHARCUTERIE (4/5)
The meats that were part of the meat board set were towards the lighter end of taste buds - very delicious. Especially when you dip the meat with the mustard sauce!

BEEF DUO (4.5/5)
Omg loved the sauce, was it the Hollandaise sauce? :D
There were different textures of the beef that was cooked three different ways - very interesting.

DESSERTS

DESSERT WINE (3/5)
It's too bitter for me - first time trying this drink (forgot the name! haha) It has an orange peel in it. My boyfriend liked it though :S

HAYDEN'S CHOCOLATE BAR (5/5)
Richmond Station has the best desserts - everything I tried so far has been 5 stars.
The crust at the bottom of the dessert was amazing. Not overly sweet. Would definitely reorder this! :)

The 3 Brewers *.

Came here for a quick snack and drink. Before our sing K session hahaha
3.5/5 stars

SANGRIA (4/5)
(Blonde Ale, lime, orange and grapefruit juices)
Pretty good :) I was a little iffy at first about Sangria with beer.. but this was pretty good. A sweet and carbonated drink.

NACHOS (3/5)
(Crispy corn tortilla chips layered with melted cheese, jalapeño peppers, black olives, diced tomatoes and green onions. Served with sour cream and salsa)
Nachos are always a good idea with beer haha.. This was yummy.. Especially the guac!! Nom nom..

The Fry *.

Pretty good! :) Came here a few times for fried chicken & beer.
It comes with two side dishes - including butter corn on a hot plate too (Love this!).

Tried two flavours so far:

GREEN ONION FRIED CHICKEN 3.5/5
I liked this one! I'd rate this higher if they added more sauce. The overall flavour was delicious! It's just that we ordered way too much (got a large size for 2 people).. as always.. hahaha

[I forgot to take a picture of this one :(]

SOY GARLIC FRIED CHICKEN 2.5/5
I had high hopes for this but there just wasn't enough sauce (even less than the fried chicken with green onions on top).. We had to ask the waitress for sauce on the side! It was a little dry overall.

Dragon Boat Fusion Cuisine *.

Came here for dinner on a weeknight - it was surprisingly very packed! Good thing we made reservations beforehand! I think the kitchen staff wasn't expecting that many people because our food took a while to come out.

ROASTED PORK & JELLYFISH 3/5
Roasted pork skin was very crunchy - I don't usually like roasted pork but I thought they did a good job with this dish.

GEODUCK (sashimi geoduck and/or geoduck cooked in broth) 5/5
Omgosh.. a-m-a-z-i-n-g! We had geoduck at another Chinese restaurant before - they didn't slice the geoduck thin enough. The way they sliced it up here was perfect :)
Can be eaten as sashimi with wasabi and soy sauce or can be cooked in hot broth, dipped with spicy soy sauce. Both were delicious!
Personally, I preferred the cooked version more. We were all saying how yummy it was while nomming this - goldstars.. goldstars..!! Will definitely come back for more of this.

SALTED EGG YOLK BATTERED GEODUCK & ASPARAGUS 4.5/5
I believe it is the shell part of the geoduck that was cooked in the salted egg yolk batter for this dish. Very delicious!

SEA CUCUMBER with SHRIMP 4/5
Love the sea cucumber! It was very chewy and retained it's original flavour despite the sauces that were poured over it.

[I couldn't take a picture of this because the waiter cut everything up before I pulled out my phone and I just sat there like TOT...]

BRAISED RIB STEAK 5/5
The sauce is sooo good! The meat was very tender and juicy - soaked all the flavour in!

DESSERTS - RED BEAN SWEET SOUP, MANGO PUDDING & ALMOND COOKIES 3/5
I really liked the almond cookies because they heat it up before serving - mango pudding was also delicious.

Ming Cuisine *.

Points up for the decor! Yummy food!

We ordered the set meal that came with:
- Marinated sausages & bean curd with veggies
- "Hand-shredded" chicken (I liked this one a lot!)
- Sweet & sour pork (The fruit was guava.. pretty special - it was yummy!)
- Salted egg yolk battered lobster (My favourite! There was salted egg yolk battered pumpkin too)
- Lobster with vermicelli
- Bok choy with mixed meats

Dessert: ALMOND SWEET SOUP
I don't usually like almond sweet soup but this place made it so good :D

We will definitely return and will try their specialty soups ("done tong"). We didn't know about pre-ordering this until we arrived. Make sure you mention it in the reservations if you plan on trying this!

Bar Raval *.

Bar Raval is a hidden gem!
The decor inside looks Gaudi-inspired - Barcelona style.

Love the curved wooden architecture - we couldn't get a seat since seats were limited but had a wonderful time here despite standing the whole time.

Our attempt to take a picture with the pretty ceiling haha
Service was excellent.

There's coat check available since they don't have much space - the two golden cards are your "tickets" for your coat retrieval.

COCKTAILS - CUBAN HOT CAKE 5/5 (drink on the left)
The waitress recommended this cocktail to me when I asked for something on the sweeter end. So good! Can't taste the alcohol (which I prefer).

JAMONES DE JUVILES - TREVELEZ 5/5
Loved the jamon...!! So fresh and not too salty - we preferred eating this jamon alone to taste the original flavour because the bread that came with it took away its taste. SO GOOD :)

CANNED - SPAIN - BERBERECHOS 5/5
Worthy of the $$$$! There's not that many clams in total but the taste is so unique, its worth a try. This is one of our top 5 choices of tapas.

TUNA PICKLE GILDA 4/5
The tuna was a great combo for texture - pickles were crunchy and tuna was soft and chewy. Yum!

MORCILLA & EGG 4/5
Second time trying blood sausage but still a little iffy about it - it's probably because of my first experience though.. It was rather gross, in Iceland (probably because fermented sharks was part of its combo) LOL

TAPAS - ESQUEIXADA 4/5
Fresh fish marinated deliciously, also came with tomatoes, onions and olives. It was so hard to eat with the toothpicks that they provided haha - one of the top 5 tapas

TAPAS - PIG CHEEKS IN CIDER 4/5
The pig cheeks were soft and tender - I think they cooked this with honey so this tapas was pretty sweet. The also added chorizos with it and they tasted SO GOOD :D

A LA PLANXA - SCALLOPS IN UNI SAUCE 5/5
So yummy!! The uni sauce was delicious! If only they added more sauce to it haha. It comes with bread so you can use it for dipping. Scallops were fresh and cooked to perfection :) Loved it!

Town Crier Pub *.

Came back to try the food with a party of 4 people - double dates :P [3.5/5 stars!]

Us girls ended up getting one pint of the Sir Perry Ciders [UK, my fave :)], 6% is more than enough... haha.. The boys stuck to their German beer marathon.

CHARCUTERIE PLATE 3/5
(German salami, smoked farmer's sausage, Westphalian ham, Brie cheese, Edam cheese, potato salad, pretzels and hot German mustard)

I loved the cheese! I'm not usually a big fan of cheese plates but this one was pretty good :) The pretzels were yummy too.

BELLMAN'S SAUSAGES 3.5/5
(German sausages served with mashed potatoes)

There were 3 different kinds of sausages - all of which we liked. Mash potato paired well with the sausages because they were more on the salty end.

PORK SCHNITZEL 3.5/5
(served with Belgian frites and topped with a mushroom cream sauce)

Nom nom! We came here mainly to try their schnitzels - not disappointed! Could add more sauce to it though - It's the sauce boss talking.

Le Neuf Café *.

This place is so cute! It's like the mini Parisian cafes in Paris.

Double-date location hereee!

It is a hidden gem within a residential-like area. A cutesy place to bring your date to :)

I'd recommend the CHOCOLAT CHAUD AU CARAMEL. It was recommended by the waiter who was very friendly. I was going to order just the chocolat chaud but he mentioned that the one with caramel is a customer-favourite.

We ordered the desserts that were available at the store front. They had everything that's not listed on the menu haha. The waiter took time to explain to us each dessert and we were happy with our orders.

Will come back to try their brunch menu :)
