Sukho Thai *.

Came here for a GNO dinner :)

THAI ICED TEA 3/5
It's yummy but be warned - it's very very sweet! My friend asked for less ice and thought that was a bad idea haha

KHAO SOI (with chicken) 3/5
Very rich in flavour. There are crispy noodles up top and regular soft noodles in the noodle bowl. The display is very cute ad colourful. It is also so filling! I couldn't finish the whole thing!

ZenQ *.

I usually come here for their HOT GRASS JELLY with Qball (flavoured mochi - comes in Green Tea, Taro and Sweet Potato flavours) and tapioca.

I'd like it if they made the grass jelly a bit hotter so that it would be more similar to the ones in Taiwan. Otherwise, it's pretty good.

Service is great. For the times that I've visited here, the place isn't packed so it's usually spacious.

Nine Cube Hot Pot*.

Nine Cube was alright - The concept of the 9 cube hot pot (the pots are literally shaped in 9 squares) is a cute gimmick. But for practicality, it was actually kind of hard to cook the food.

The good thing about it was being about to differentiate where we put the food, or else everything will be lost once you throw all the foods in lol.
Service was excellent.
The interior reminds me of a bubble tea shop - I was surprised to see very little ventilation since hot pot places gets steamed up quickly. The place was able to maintain little to no steam surprisingly D:

The beef definitely needs more fatty (personal preference).
I loved the imitation crab meat though!

Cha Me Cha *.

Cha Me Cha became a designated spot for GNOs - it's not too loud and the food and drinks are yummy!
Loving the Taiwanese snacks and food.

GREEN TEA SNOW ICE 4/5
It comes with tapioca and condensed milk. So good - we nommed this within seconds haha - eat quickly because it melts quickly!

CEREAL MALT MILK TEA (HOT) 4/5
I've always been iffy about trying new milk tea flavours because I usually pick the "unique ones" and it's never good hahaha - but THIS, THIS IS GOOD :D
If you like malty flavours, I'd definitely recommend it!

Manpuku Japanese Eatery *.

Manpuku is a tiny eatery right across from OCAD mostly catering to students around the area. The food is yummy and cheap!

BEEF CURRY RICE 4/5
I love how their curry is a bit spicy - it's rare that Japanese curries are on the spicy end. This is both sweet and spicy. Yummy! :)

TAKOYAKI 4/5 (I forgot to take a picturee T^T)
Takes 20 mins to make so order early if you're planning to get it. Very fresh and steamy hot when it's served.

We were way too full so we didn't order any desserts :(
Will visit again!

Ripley's Aquarium of Canada *.

NOT A FOOD POST!*

As part of Peter's birthday shenanigans, we visited Ripley's Aquarium of Canada.

I've always loved aquariums and Ripley's was an amazing experience :)

My favourite part of this attraction was the "petting stations" - the sting rays were soooo soft! I've always loved stingrays!

It was too bad that we weren't allowed to pet the bonnethead sharks because they kept coming near the sides where everyone was trying to pet stingrays. They probably felt really lonely haha

Another part of the attraction that stood out to me was the "underwater" experience with the moving walkway through a tunnel.

The crowds weren't too big and everyone was really courteous - they moved away whenever someone (like me haha) wanted to take a picture.
