Mnozil’s Gastwirtschaft zum Kellergwölb - Vienna, Austria *.

Grüß Gott!

Destination: Vienna, Austria 😻

😻 At the beautiful rose garden of Schönbrunn Palace

We came to Mnozil's Gastwirtschaft zum Kellergwölb for dinner.

We had to attend an orchestra concert in the evening and this restaurant is within walking distance.

😻 Kursalon Wien - Music hall :) sooo gorgeous!

Service was great - the waiters were very polite and courteous.
They have a wide variety of wine selections.

 * Table setting

CORN CREAM SOUP (4/5)

Mmm! It seems as if they mixed the cream soup with butternut squash, which makes it EXTRA yummy! (I love love love butternut squash soup). The soup was sweet and rich with flavour.

GRILLED FISH & potatoes (2/5)

Okay - here's where all the points are lost. The fish was o-k, nothing too special, it's grilled fish. There was barely any flavouring to the fish, it wasn't that fresh, and they left the whole fish bone inside the supposedly boneless fillet. Potatoes were also quite bland.

CHOCOLATE CAKE (3.5/5)

Loved the chocolate cake! It was milk chocolate flavoured. Wish they had given us a bigger portion :)

😻 Sneaked a picture of the unused dining area at the restaurant!

😻 Touristy pictures at the palace - Pictures definitely don't do it justice!!

😻 Photography by me hahaha

U Fleků - Prague, Czech Republic *.

Destination: Prague, Czech Republic 😻

😻 Prague's love lock bridge!

😻 Another shot of the pretty area

We had dinner at U Fleků. I loved the cute decorations

This restaurant has a huge interior.
I know of several people who got lost finding their way back to the correct dining room after their washroom break haha.

I believe the main focus of this restaurant is on their local beers.
It is like watching a show when the waiter comes in with 15+ beers stacked on the tray - one glass is already heavy, imagine 15+!!

We had a great experience here.
We loved how there was the live music during our dining experience.

HAM & SALAD (4/5)

I loved the ham! It was salty and was a great pairing with the salad.
They did not add salad dressing with it so the ham was the main focus for flavouring.

SAUSAGE, DUCK CONFIT, PORK SLICE, SAUERKRAUT, BREAD (4/5)

The duck confit wins the show. It was marinated very well with the thick gravy sauce. Its meat was tender and juicy. Wish there was more! The pork slice wasn't my favourite. It was dry and hard to chew on. The sausage had a flavour on its own - more on the salty side.

VANILLA CAKE with whip cream (3/5)

We were stuffed by the time our dessert arrived but there is always room for desserts!
The cake was very sweet. It would've tasted better if they made the texture of the cake more soft.

* small cup of ESPRESSO to end off our meal.
I didn't drink much because I wouldn't be able to sleep well haha

Café Savoy - Prague, Czech Republic *.

😻 Dobrý den!!

Destination: Prague, Czech Republic 😻

😻 Outside the famous toys store at Prague - Pohadka! What a cute storefront!

😻 Infamous red roof tops of Prague

😻 The Astronomical Clock of Prague: It was so funny because everyone sprained their necks looking up when the clock strikes.. It was just a small window opening with subtle movements. We were expecting something BIG!!

Destination: Prague, Czech Republic 😻

Loved my trip in Prague!! I would highly recommend this place for anyone who hasn't been before. It is a romantic and relaxing city with both modern and historical aspects in one location. The difference from other European countries are the mass amounts of red roof tops.

For hotel accommodations, I'd recommend the Pentahotel, located at city core. It has clean and cute interiors. We had a huge room which was an "explorer" theme. Breakfast was included at the hotel and we got to meet really friendly Americans :D

Café Savoy! What a beautiful restaurant!
The interior was huge, which is great for large groups.

They had a Victorian look to the restaurant - gorgeous!
We had dinner here on our first night at Prague.

Lovely atmosphere, great service and food.

DRINKS:

* Coke
(It's been a while since I gotten my coke in a glass bottle hahaha)

HAM & SALAD (3/5)

The ham was great. I didn't really like the cream cheese that was in between the rolls of ham. This came with caesar salad.

BEEF DUMPLINGS & RICE (4/5)

Loved the beef dumplings! It came nice and hot. It was marinated very well.
The meat inside was very juicy and the sauce that came with the dumpling was a great mix with the rice.

VANILLA CREAM MOUSSE (4/5)

To finish off our meal, we had vanilla cream mousse for desserts.
The dessert was served in a small coffee cup. The vanilla mousse had a soft and creamy texture.
So yummy!

😻 Restaurant front :)

Wenzel Prager Bierstuben *. - Dresden, Germany

Wie geht es dir! :D

Destination: Dresden, Germany 😻

😻 at the Semperoper Dresden - Opera house of Dresden, featuring the pink lady behind me haha

😻 Cute colourful houses at the main square in Dresden!

😻 Historical walls of Dresden, which illustratees the leaders throughout the era; they're all walking backwards in time towards the original leader for a celebratory party of rulers

We came to Wenzel Prager Bierstuben for lunch after a full day of excusion, looking to try some local German dark beer.

What a cute place! The place is also really big and spacious.

There are cute displays everywhere - beer themed. There were beer bars everywhere.

Service was excellent.

* One of the beer bars...!

 * We thought these stairs would lead us to the bathroom but it was actually their kitchen.. hahaha

They had one server for the whole section, which had 5 large tables, and she was quick and efficient.

* Another beer bar, literally 5 steps away from each other haha

DRINKS:

* German dark beer

I'm not usually a beer drinker and I thought the dark beer here was amazing!
It doesn't leave you feeling bloated like most beers that I've tried.
I would come back for just the beer itself :P

* Sourdough bread that came with the soup

SOUP (3/5)

Normal clear veggie soup to start off. A bit too salty for my liking.

BEEF GOULASH & DUMPLINGS (4/5)

This was so good! I don't understand why they call it dumplings when it's basically bread... but I really liked the "dumplings"! Very soft. The sauce for the beef goulash was delicious. The beef itself was tender and soaked in a lot of flavour.

"TIRAMISU" / BREAD (4/5)

The dessert was bread and sauce that tasted like condensed milk (LOVE IT), but I was told that this was called a tiramisu (?). Deliciousss! It was a great end to our meal.
Someone from Dresden actually commented on my IG picture of the actual name of the dessert.. thanks!! But I don't know how to pronounce it still.. LOL

😻 at the gorgeous Dresden Baths of Nymphs :) Loving the fall colours!

😻 Ending off this post with Dresden's cupid bum bums!
(They were everywhere haha)
